The Gen 2 is a regulated PCP design with several mechanical and usability upgrades: regulated output for improved shot-to-shot consistency, a higher max fill (3500 PSI) and increased air capacity, a longer 22" rifled barrel, an enlarged/more rigid breech and scope rail (single-block machined), a refined side-lever with tighter tolerances, and upgraded shroud/air-stripper design. The Gen 2 is available in .22 and .25 calibers (Gen 2 doesnotinclude .177). It ships with two rotary magazines, two single-shot trays, a fill probe and regulated gauge, basic tuning tools, a degassing rod, and spare O-rings.

• Test with the single-shot tray. If groups tighten with single-shot but degrade when using the rotary magazine, the magazine is suspect.
• If a magazine won’t rotate, check the magazine o-ring and inspect for broken/bent teeth or cracked plastic. If it is damaged, replace it. Gen 2 is supplied with two 9-shot rotary mags — you can swap mags to confirm whether one is bad.

Common regulator symptoms and what they mean:

• First-shot flyers, then returns to normal: regulator gauge may be creeping above the set point while the rifle sits; the first shot will be off until the regulator stabilizes.
• Slow recovery to set point after a shot: regulator or associated plumbing/valving may be restricting airflow; you’ll see the gauge taking time to rise back to set pressure.
• Gauge not returning at all: check for leaks and confirm the regulator is not dropped/failed. If you suspect the regulator, contact service or work with a qualified tech — regulators are sensitive components.
  A proper regulator will return to its set point quickly shot-to-shot and keep velocities consistent.

1. Confirm where the leak is: remove accessories and listen around the fill probe, breech O-ring, magazine area, regulator, and the gauge.
2. Use soapy water or a leak detection fluid (safe for the rifle) to localize the leak.
3. Check the breech O-ring and magazine O-rings for cuts or missing pieces — the Gen 2 includes a spare breech O-ring.
4. If the leak is at the fill probe or gauge, check fittings and the fill probe O-ring. The Gen 2 uses a fill probe system — if you suspect the fill probe, try a different fill hose or fitting.

The Gen 2 features a threaded aluminum air-stripper and shroud with½-20 threads under a knurled thread protector, compatible with many suppressors/moderators. Use a moderator sized appropriately for your caliber and ensure it has a sufficiently large baffle diameter for the pellet size. If you experience accuracy changes after attaching a moderator, test accuracy with and without the device and try a different unit or spacer to re-establish proper alignment.

Slugs can be used in some PCP rifles but feeding and tuning must be verified first. If you want to try slugs:

1. Test in the single-shot tray first. If they feed and shoot well there, load into a magazine and verify smooth, reliable feeding off the gun (push each slug out of the magazine with a rod before live firing to confirm geometry).
2. Expect to experiment with slug diameter, weight, and tune (hammer spring / regulator settings). Because Gen 2 is offered in .22 and .25 only, slug use will be limited to those calibers. Always start light and work up while chronographing.

• Calibers: .22 and .25 (Gen 2 is no longer offered in .177).
• Regulated PCP with a max fill pressure of 3500 PSI (fill probe).
• Barrel: 22" rifled barrel (extended from the Gen 1 length).
• Muzzle thread: ½-20 under knurled protector.
• Included: 2× rotary magazines, 2× single-shot trays, fill probe with regulated gauge, hex keys, degassing rod, spare breech O-ring.
• Action: Side lever; adjustable hammer spring and adjustable trigger; manual safety.

Store the rifle with some air pressure in the system (typically just below the regulator set point). The main reason to keep pressure in the rifle during storage is to prolong the life of the regulator and to prevent external contaminants from entering. Rifles stored with air pressure should be kept in locked storage away from unauthorized users to prevent accidents.

For best results choose a moderator slightly larger than the pellet caliber to reduce the chance of clipping. Practical guidance:

• Use a .25-sized moderator for .22 rifles.
• Use a .30-sized moderator for .25 rifles.

Always check accuracy with and without the moderator after fitting; a correctly sized moderator will reduce noise without destabilizing pellets.

This is commonly caused by regulator creep or regulator stabilization — while the rifle sits the regulator can rise above its set point; the first shot(s) will be off until the regulator returns to its set point. Proper storage with some pressure reduces contamination and can help regulator longevity, but persistent first-shot issues may require regulator service.

They measure different things: the gauge at the end of the air reservoir shows the fill pressure and will climb as you fill the gun. The gauge under the rifle shows the regulator output pressure (the pressure the regulator is set to deliver). Typical regulator output targets for the 1100z Gen 2 are:

• .22 caliber: 1600 psi regulator output
• .25 caliber: 1800 psi regulator output

When you fill, the fill gauge will rise until it exceeds the regulator set point; the regulator gauge will then rise to its output and hold steady until the fill pressure falls below the regulator set point, at which point the regulator gauge will start to track downward.
