@PewPewPop I can not say for certain, but the marginal difference in FPS could be related to the fact that the polymer version has a slightly shorter barrel than the metal version.

I don' t know if this air rifle is a true hunter at 50 and 75 yards.  For a "Budget" airgun it is quite accurate but at 50 yards I can hold a group about the size of a half dollar and at 75 ya...
