@Steve Morgan i hope you went with a decent scope for this excellent rifle. I shoot mine at 30 yards and besides hunting and pesting i do a lot of target shooting. Mines the 22 250z and she's a tac...
Yes always fill your rifles especially after shooting them to keep them under constant pressure and the the gun decocked. That will prolong the life of the seals.
If you're going to shoot prey such as squirrels or birds get a 22. If you shoot larger animals such as groundhogs get a 25. Coyotes use a 30 caliber.
I've got the 1100z gen 2 in 25 caliber and it shoots amazing dime sized groups at 30 yards with JSB Exact 25.39 pellets and the AEA Center Punch 25.39 pellets. Anything else and it shoots terribly....
