I have several reactive and interactive targets in what I call my Shooting Gallery. Here is just one of them. I'll add some other targets to this post occasionally. I hope you'll enjoy these. Please share if you have any of your own or have ideas for similar targets.
I call this one The Train. 2"x2" board cars carrying an assortment of little targets are pulled along an 8' aluminum U-channel track by a rotisserie motor and large pully (cookie tin). The cars are attached together with velcro so I can mix and match several variety of cars.
The motor is plugged into a remote controlled outlet and can be turned on/off by the shooter or helper. The run time is 1 minute 14 seconds and ends when the two flags are lined up.
The backstop is a discarded spa cover. Unfortunately, a grey squirrel has made his/her home on the back side. He/she is quick to leave home and watch when I'm out there shooting, but returns right after. Hmmm, must have low rent and a long lease. 😅
@William Brooks I'm not sure what to call this one...maybe Release the Baby (from the CROODS movie) or in this case, Release the Cans.
Three cans are held in place by wires attached to the paddles which are aluminum U-channel. Shooting the left one first releases the first can which rolls down the ramp for 4 seconds. Repeat with paddle #2 & #3. The ramp has aluminum angle strips to guide the cans on a straight and narrow trip.

It never ceases to amaze me how a little .177 pellet can deform the aluminum channeling. BTW, I put cheap shingles around the fence perimeter and target stands to discourage annoying weeds that thrive in our nice Florida weather.
Obviously, I call this one The Octopus. Its short life as a patio umbrella came to an end during a high wind day. The targets are can lids that turn slowly around driven by, yup, you guessed it, a rotessorie motor plugged into a remote controlled outlet. These motors, by the way, are under $30 on Amazon.
It took a little ingenuity getting the umbrella hooked up to the motor which is concealed in the base of the octopus.
I apologize for the condition of my backstop heavy duty moving blanket. The squirrels shred it for bedding. Guess it's time to replace it.
