250Z hammer spring

  • Greetings,

I've been having consistency problems with my 250Z. I noticed the other day my hammer spring setting was not in the orientation I left it (normally leave it horizontal). I then shot the gun without the stock and noticed the hammer spring loosens a little with each shot. I've contacted customer support and they said to put thread tape or tighten the hammer spring, which isn't ideal, since I might have to pass the sweet spot/ideal setting. I asked if the hammer spring simply comes out if you continue to unscrew, and I didn't get an answer. Do any of you know if disassembly is required? I've never had a gun where you could remove the hammer spring by simply continuing to unscrew, they've all had a limit to how far you could unscrew. Thanks for any insight.
