I was talking to a friend of mine that had a Crossman full auto bb gun. We did some reasearch and based on his experience and the dats, the 2 CO2 powerletts he uses in his BB gun can fire about 175 shots on a good day. Not to bad considering that Walmart sells the Powerletts for $21 for a pack of 40. This comes out to 3500 BB's that can be shot for $21, not counting the cost of the BB's themselves. That got me thinking about what it was costing me.
I researched the lifespan of the 11.1 LiPo and found that it can last for 150 to 300 full charges. And it just does not drop dead, it just loses the ability to fully hold a charge like new and can still work. That being said, even if I use the lower number of 150 charges, and use the data of 1000 shots per charge, (even though it will shoot a couple hundred more),I can get 150,000 shots from the battery on its worst day. Using the CO2 cost , that works out to $900 worth of CO2 powerletts for the same ammount of BB's shot.
This pays for the BB's used, the initial cost of the rifle, and accessories like a scope, laser and such. And puts money back in my pocket in savings or for another gun. This makes the purchase of the 400e a great deal. If anyone wants to check my math please feel free to do so and correct me if I am wrong.
