Can you have fun? Sure.
I picked up this springer from Crosman at the Bass Pro Shoppe today for $19.99. It's the Game Face Recon airsoft pistol with cool silencer.
I've never been a big fan of springers (to be honest, I don't think I ever owned one.)
Amazingly, this is one fun gun to shoot. It is a single shot with a drop-free 14 round mag. The velocity is reported to be around 280fps. It performs best with .12g BBs and did damage to tin cans, balloons, and clay pigeons from about 5 yards. It worked great with the Sticky Targets too. It is pretty hard cocking so I was using a glove to rack the slide, but the trigger is very smooth with a clean break.
Surprisingly, it was more accurate with the silencer on than off for some reason. It is all plastic and very light weight but has a very natural feel in my hand.
