270z Pre-Charged Pneumatic Air Rifle
The Barra 270z is a bolt-action, regulated pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) pellet air rifle that builds on our popular 250z platform. Air is stored in a 322cc reservoir wrapped around the barrel, and an externally adjustable regulator keeps shot-to-shot velocity consistent from first shot to last. The 27.5-inch barrel, up to 1,100 fps velocity in .22, and 30cc plenum give the 270z serious performance credentials. Add a threaded barrel for suppressor-ready use, a two-stage adjustable trigger, and an ambidextrous bolt designed to mimic firearm ergonomics, and you have a PCP that punches well above its price point.
The checkered beech wood stock features an adjustable comb, sling attachment points, a Picatinny rail, and M-LOK slots, so whether you're shooting targets or hunting small game, the 270z has you covered.

How is the 270z different from the 250z?
The 270z builds directly on the 250z platform with several meaningful upgrades: a larger 322cc air capacity for more shots per fill, a longer 27.5-inch threaded barrel, an ambidextrous and repositionable bolt, a checkered beech wood stock with an adjustable comb, and sling attachment points.
What does 'regulated PCP' mean?
A regulated PCP uses an internal pressure regulator to deliver a consistent amount of air to each shot, regardless of how full the reservoir is. This means your velocity stays stable from the first shot to the last, which translates directly to tighter groups and more predictable performance. The 270z's regulator is also externally adjustable, so you can fine-tune the output pressure without disassembling the rifle.
How do you fill the 270z?
The 270z fills via a fill probe that connects to your hand pump, scuba/dive tank, or high-pressure air compressor. The maximum fill pressure is 3,625 psi. The rifle has an onboard airtube gauge so you can monitor the pressure during filling. Always fill slowly with a high-pressure tank to avoid heat buildup that can affect fill accuracy.
Is the 270z ambidextrous?
Yes. The bolt is ambidextrous and ships ready to use from either side. It can also be repositioned to the left side using a standard hex key set if you prefer a dedicated left-hand configuration.
Can I mount a suppressor or moderator on the 270z?
Yes. The 270z barrel is threaded 1/2-20 UNF and includes a thread protector. This is a standard thread pitch compatible with many airgun moderators and suppressors. Always check your local regulations before attaching any suppressor or moderator to an air rifle.
